The Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Division includes
Records, Civil, Grants, and
Accounting.
The Records section maintains case report files, statistical data, and sex offender registry among other duties. For more information on the Records division or fees charged, please look at the Records page on this website.
The Civil section processes all papers to be served, as well as processing our Concealed Carry Permits. All papers received must be accompanied by the correct fee to process. These fees can be found on the Civil page on this website.
Concealed Carry Permits are processed on Thursdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. All information regarding Concealed Carry Permits can be found on the Civil page on this website.
Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting is
only provided by the Administrative Division for
Concealed Handgun Permits,
MCSO Court Ordered Prints,
DNA,
Search & Recuse and
Posse on Thursdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Fingerprint fees are $10.00.

Accounting
The Accounting section processes all of the agency’s accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Grants
The Grants section seeks out funding opportunities for the Agency to assist in procuring necessary equipment and training, which lessens budget impacts on the community.
All calls are answered by one of the Administrative staff and directed to the appropriate person or division.
